We had a fantastic stay while visiting Ciudad Oaxaca and surrounding areas. We walked all over the city from here. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, we did select one with softer beds when we returned from a side trip. It was nice and quiet. Luis was super helpful and gracious. He is fluent in English, but also encouraged us to speak Español and continue our learning which adds to the experience of travel. Luis is very knowledgeable about his city and and country, he helped us make the most of our trip. Other staff were also very good.

The hotel had bed bugs in the beds, and the person at the entrance was very arrogant and argued with everyone. I went in January and didn't like it. Now that I went last weekend, I realized they still have the same attitude, so I'm thinking twice about staying there. From the moment you arrive, you're treated badly by this despotic and vulgar person.
