Lovely spa experience with sauna, pool and outdoor pool. Definitely a lovely experience. A lovely room and bathroom with everything we needed. Lovely varied breakfast and we were full. A lovely 3 course dinner. Nothing was wrong with it. Sweet and friendly hosts. Good location, ift Flensburg. Easy to find, beautiful view in the morning. Some of the pictures from the restaurant show Flensburg. We were inside Rote Strasse. Good inspiration

A thoroughly disappointing experience. We had been looking forward to getting down to business and enjoying a romantic Valentine's night as a couple. The hotel is worn and not maintained. The fact that it is located above a cattle farm does not make it any more delicious, cozy or relaxing. It was supposed to be a spa and wellness hotel but both the water in the pool and the floors were dirty. We paid extra to borrow 2 discolored! Towels and 2 worn bathrobes. The fish spa was ok, but in general there was no desire to provide service in the spa area either. It turned out to cost extra, which we were only informed about when we received a bill at check-out. We tried to book a massage online, but it did not work and no one could answer whether the masseuse was present, and if so, where we could find her. The large sauna was quite nice, on the other hand there was a requirement that you had to be naked. In the indoor sauna/steam bath area it was unclear whether you had to wear a swimsuit or not. Just small steps could have helped create a feeling that they actually wanted to give the guests a good experience. The changing and showering areas were separate, so you had to put on your swimsuit before washing - it's just unhygienic. We had bought a 3-course Valentine's menu. The starter was a beetroot soup, which was light brown? The main course was hard glazed potatoes, very dry chicken and overcooked Brussels sprouts. The dessert was a very resistant chocolate "panna cotta". The waiters were rude. The wine was good. It definitely did not live up to either the price or the 4 stars. The young woman of Ukrainian descent who was at the reception was really welcoming, sweet and service-minded. She gave us 10 euros of her own money, as it was otherwise not possible to exchange it for cash. We hope that you compensate her for these and see what star she is compared to the rest of the poor quality of the hotel. We have decided to just laugh at this unique experience, because fortunately it is extremely rare that you experience something that is just so completely bad. There are quite a few reviews from 10+ months ago, where guests have tried to point out poor hygiene, poor service and bad food. Apparently you have no genuine interest in improving this.
