I am giving 1 star only because there is no option to give zero. I met a friend in Batumi. She came with her family and made a reservation at this hotel as my guests. We chose this hotel despite its very high price because we wanted the children to enjoy themselves. The advertisements clearly stated “all inclusive,” but in reality nothing was included. Spa, hammam, pool, entertainment areas — every single service required extra payment. What is worse, my guest’s reservation already included breakfast and dinner. On the evening I helped them check in, we had dinner together at the hotel restaurant. I personally ate only one plate of pasta and then left the hotel. That same night, hotel staff forced my guest to pay an extra 160 pounds, claiming it was for the single plate of food I ate. Charging 160 pounds for one plate of pasta is outrageous and unacceptable. Moreover, they demanded payment aggressively and refused to refund money for services that were never provided. This money was taken under pressure. We could not find any authority or management to file a complaint about this bullying behavior. This hotel is run by extremely disrespectful, unethical staff and owners who clearly do not care about guests. If they can do this to us after a prepaid reservation, one can only imagine what they might do to others. Stay away from this hotel. There are many cheaper, higher-quality, and honest hotels in Batumi city center and nearby. Do not be deceived by this place — it is nothing but a service trap and a money trap.
