A quick one-night stay in Hossegor, a hotel found on the spur of the moment, and we weren't disappointed at all! The room was a bit quirky but very comfortable! The hotel has a wonderful charm, and the highlight was a very generous and delicious breakfast with a magical view of the lake waking up in its mist! The Art Nouveau paintings in the restaurant are beautiful. Our only slight regret was arriving too late to enjoy the spa. The staff are also very friendly, and the hotel is well located, close enough to the center to walk to, yet far enough away to be peaceful (despite our room overlooking the roundabout opposite the hotel). One small drawback: the lack of parking included in the room price.

The room was unsuitable (we were put in a disabled room even though we aren't, and surely other people would have needed it more than we did). The view of the ventilation ducts was appalling, and the room was dirty (curtains, walls, shower, sheets with hairs). There was a filthy shower brush in our bathroom that was turning yellow. The parking was difficult; even with a high-end vehicle that's relatively low, the parking lot was muddy and full of potholes. There wasn't even enough space to park in front of the hotel to get the room key. The floor of the room was so dirty that it left our socks disgusting. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel if you want impeccable hygiene (which should be the norm) and a nice view as advertised on the hotel's homepage.

I'm sorry, but after coming to eat on January 1st, a party of four, for a total of around €220... and having the waiter, this dear gentleman, whom you politely ask for a carafe of water, tell you: "Get up, it's at the end of the room." Did I come to eat at Flunch or the IKEA cafeteria or something? Without any scruples, he walks past the carafes several times, but no desire to serve us... You should change professions if you don't want to serve people, sir, especially at your age. On the other hand, €220 will pay your salary too!! Don't forget that nothing is ever truly yours... There are also hotels and restaurants that close because the quality isn't there... A word to the wise...
