Visiting Morelia at the end of the year was fabulous! The hotel is housed in an older building, which means the rooms are small but have a colonial feel. It boasts an excellent location, which is a huge plus. The rooms with balconies have a pleasant view of the Plaza del Carmen, although you can still hear some outside noise. Lunch is modest but fair for the price of the room. I think it could be an excellent option in the city center if the owners make an effort to improve the comfort of the beds, linens, bathroom and room facilities, especially the doors and furniture. As guests, we avoided causing any problems with the staff regarding the details we found in our room. We received friendly treatment because we treated them the same way; we chose to enjoy the city, walk the streets, and explore interesting places. I highly recommend visiting this city and Pátzcuaro as well. Finally, I thank Anahí, Arturo, and Mrs. Bety (the staff at this simple hotel) for their attention and support.
