It's literally right in front of Terukuni Shrine! I was excited as soon as I arrived! The black pork shabu-shabu was delicious. It was worth the trip just for that. It had no fishy smell, so you didn't even need ponzu sauce! Surprising! Of course, it wasn't just shabu-shabu. They also had pork bone stew with silver-ringed herring vinegar and miso, and sweet soy sauce for sashimi. A whole host of Kagoshima delicacies. (I bought some sashimi soy sauce at Amu Plaza!) The women's bath is small, but perhaps because of that, no one stays in the bath for long, so the turnover is good and it's not an inconvenience. The water is plentiful, the temperature is just right, and my skin feels smooth. Soaking while looking out at the Shiroyama Kanko Hotel was really nice (lol). The WiFi signal was incredibly strong. The sofa area next to the front desk and the dining area have full-wall glass windows. The sacredness of Terukuni Shrine and the lush greenery spread out before your eyes, creating a sense of openness and unity that adds a sense of fulfillment to your trip. That said, the hotel was founded in 1951. I'm a little concerned about the baths and toilets in my room... This hotel is ideal for people with young children or the elderly who want to take a bath in their room, or for those who have been bar-hopping in Tenmonkan and want to take a shower in the middle of the night. Also, for those who prefer coffee and a Western-style buffet in the morning, the Japanese set meal is packed with Kagoshima flavors, including piping hot miso soup flavored with local sweet miso. In cases like this, it would be best to find another accommodation.
