Hotel GHT Oasis Park & SPA

We (a married couple) stayed at the GHT Oasis Park & SPA hotel in Lloret de Mar from October 1st to 15th, 2025, where we encountered outrageous behavior from two employees!!! Pros: Comfortable beds, clean, very good and varied food, and the staff at the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping were very polite and helpful, with the exception of two employees. Cons: The hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating: small rooms, no second chair or table in the room, no kettle or glasses, and a refrigerator is available for an additional fee. The hotel is dominated by religious seminar participants who are very loud and pushy, making it impossible to stay in the hotel and enjoy meals in peace. The hotel is overcrowded every day of the week; there are frequent lines to enter and inside the restaurant, and food and utensils are missing. There are two employees who behave outrageously! An obese waiter letting people into the restaurant and a bald, muscular security guard sitting in the back of the reception area (I describe them this way because neither of them had a name tag or introduced themselves). When we registered at the hotel reception on October 1, 2025, we received a form with, among other things, meal times (dinners were supposed to start at 7:30 PM, and 7:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays). On Saturday, October 4, 2025, we tried to enter the restaurant around 7:15 PM but were denied entry. We showed the aforementioned form with meal times; suddenly, without any explanation, a fat waiter ran up to me and started pushing me out of the restaurant. I spontaneously reacted by gently pushing him away and expressing my outrage at his behavior. He then called a security guard over the microwave, who told us to go to the hotel reception. There, another employee told us we couldn't go to dinner because I was being aggressive. When I tried to resolve the misunderstanding, I was advised to call the resident. While the security guard was talking to the resident, the security guard snatched the hours slip from my hands, crumpled it, and threw it on the floor. The resident informed me that we wouldn't be able to go out for dinner until the next day! I asked her to contact the hotel manager the next day, explain the situation, and let us know his position (the resident didn't return my call). I should emphasize that, aside from the incident with the waiter and the security guard, the conversation went smoothly. My wife and I have been traveling all over the world for 50 years, from the Americas to Japan, Asia, Australia, and almost all of Europe. We have never encountered employee behavior like that at this hotel! Given the above situation, we wanted to ask the manager of the Oasis Hotel the following questions: 1. How can such aggressive people work at a hotel, tarnishing its reputation (we witnessed a brawl between a security guard and a disabled Frenchman, who had to be defended by other Frenchmen to calm down, and a few arguments between a fat waiter and people entering the restaurant – we read similar reviews about him from other guests at your hotel online)? 2. How can you refuse to let people have dinner for which they paid, claiming they were aggressive, when they were actually having a calm conversation (my wife was not involved in the incident with the waiter at all)? 3. Does the management feel entitled to a refund for the dinner we ate elsewhere (approximately €40.00)? 4. What right does a hotel employee have to attack a guest, and when the guest defends himself, make him out to be the aggressor? All we had to do was explain that different hours apply in the summer (this information wasn't in the printout!), which we were only told at the end of our conversation at the hotel reception. How can a security guard snatch a document issued by the receptionist from a tenant and destroy it? 5. And finally: the hotel staff made a mistake by providing incorrect meal times, for which they should have apologized, not escalated the conflict and blamed the hotel residents. What a scandal!!! A fantastic stay! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Special mention for the restaurant: the meal was truly excellent. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Oasis Hotel in September 2025. On September 21st we experienced a very unpleasant situation. Our room, as well as the room next to ours, was robbed during dinner. The thiefs were entering through the door. We were “lucky” because although they stole three phones, a laptop, and money from us, we still fared better than the guests in the room next door whose suitcases were taken as well. It was as if someone had warned the thieves that we were coming back, so they ran away. That aside, we are aware that the hotel is not responsible for valuables left in the rooms, but their reaction was, to say the least, shocking. No one from the hotel reception came up to the room to check, to send housekeeping to help us with the room that had been turned upside down, no one made any effort to make things easier for us… they simply informed us that we had to go to the police ourselves to report the theft. Rock bottom. I am attaching a photo of the room, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel at all costs
