Not a pleasant experience at all. Let's start with arriving at my room and discovering it was infested with woodworms. They promptly changed my room, but I received a smaller one, a bathroom that smelled too strongly of bleach (I understand hygiene and sanitization, but too much, sorry), a very hot room upon arrival (I had to turn on the air conditioning myself), no shower gel bottles (I went to the first infected room - I still had the keys for moving luggage - to get them), and a minibar with no alternatives. The icing on the cake. Towards departure, I asked the receptionist (everyone knows they have direct contact with the taxi drivers) for a taxi at 3:00 PM (my train was at 3:21 PM). First of all, when I arrived in town, I received news that there was a Chinese taxi driver who had been reported by the Carabinieri for abusing tourists, which is why - after also reporting him to the relevant municipality - he can't operate. Who comes to the hotel? The Chinese! I say and think, is this a joke? After a few awkward moments, the taxi driver had to leave. Is it possible that I knew and the receptionist didn't? I think he did. The end of the story? I asked for another taxi driver, who obviously arrived late. In the end, I moved the departure time up by half an hour. Sad story. The facility has good potential, but it's run by a bunch of incompetents (saving the peace of a few people I met during the night).
