Hotel Gracery Ginza

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in Tokyo. How on earth did it get rated as a four-star hotel? It’s simply deceptive. The two older male receptionists at the front desk (around sixty years old) were extremely arrogant and rude, with absolutely no sense of customer service. The other two younger staff members—a female and a male—were actually quite polite and provided good service. Are those two older Japanese men racist? Why was their attitude so terrible? It’s truly baffling and completely outrageous. I will never come back again. It is absolutely not worth the price. The hotel rooms are extremely, extremely small. All the facilities are very old and outdated. The cleaning was also poor—there was dust everywhere！The toilet flushing sound in the bathroom is extremely loud—super noisy!!!

The location is right on a main road, right next to Ginza Six, so there was always a security guard out front. It's a bit of a walk to the subway, so I took off one star. Check-in, check-out, and luggage storage were convenient. After check-out, you use the QR code to lock your luggage, which is convenient because you can organize your luggage before leaving for the airport. I didn't use the breakfast, but the room was a bit small. The carpeted floor was dusty. There were plenty of amenities, and the blue bath salt was particularly useful. It's better than other hotels with public baths.

I booked a trip to Tokyo during the Lunar New Year holidays at Gracery Ginza. This was my second time at this hotel. After checking in, I realized I'd left my bag containing cards and cash on the 1,500 yen bus. I explained the situation to the hotel check-in staff and asked for their help. Although I barely spoke Japanese and had to use a translator, they listened to me carefully and even called the bus company to confirm my lost items. After confirming the location of my bag, they printed out a photo of the terminal where I could pick it up and helped me find it. I made an unexpected mistake on the first day of my trip, but the hotel's help made my trip even more enjoyable. The staff member was a young woman, but I couldn't confirm her name. T.T. The next day, I gave her pudding I'd bought at nearby West Ginza. However, I felt so humbled by the help and gratitude I received that I still feel guilty and underestimated. The staff member who helped me that day was incredibly beautiful and kind. I want to express my sincere gratitude once again. The hotel is quite spacious for a Tokyo business hotel, with enough space for two suitcases. It seems they remodeled it two years ago. It felt cleaner than when I first visited. The TV was larger and smart, supporting YouTube and Netflix. There was a power outlet next to the bed, so I could charge my phone before bed. By signing up for a Washington Hotel membership, I received a welcome drink and a late checkout. However, despite being on the fourth floor, the water pressure wasn't very strong, and the hair dryer was weak for its size. The complimentary toothbrush was of poor quality, so those who care about their gums should definitely bring their own. The razor was a triple-blade razor, but it was of decent quality, so you don't need to bring your own. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and there were no complaints about noise or smell. The location was great, right next to Ginza Six. While there's no convenience store right next door, there's a Family Mart, Lawson, and Seven within a three-minute walk. There's a grocery store and Don Quijote within a five-minute walk, and OK Ginza is a 10-minute walk away. Ginza Station, Higashi Ginza Station, Ginza Ichome, and Shinbashi Station are all close by, so there's no need to worry. The Narita Airport bus station is also nearby. Accessibility to the airport is also excellent.
