The room was larger than I expected. There was even a sofa. However, since there was a large public bath, the bath in the room was not used very often, as there was noticeable mold. Maybe they think it's okay just because there's a large public bath? The black mold was terrible! Did the person in charge not check the bathroom in the room? I feel reluctant to use this bathroom. My wife was going to use it, so I cleaned it with the toothbrush from the front desk! The shower head in the bathroom came off. Unbelievable. The location was also great, right in the center. No amenities included coffee or tea. Well, for a salaryman or a solo male traveller, the price and location probably make it good value for money! I'll refrain from posting photos as they're too obscene.

Although the location is good, the building is old and the doors are the same type as those in old housing complexes, with locks. There is a slightly larger bath on the second floor, which I used. Breakfast can be selected in advance, and I requested Japanese food, which was delicious. The portions are quite generous. I was impressed by how well the place was cleaned overall. Even if it's old, it's important that it's kept clean.

Stayed here for the Snow Festival. Two nights. It was a few days before the reservation, but there was a cancellation, so I managed to get in just in time. It was less than 30,000 yen for two nights at this time of year, so it was pretty good. The room was a 6.5-tatami Japanese-style room. The bath and toilet were shared. There was one bathtub, a cold bath, and a sauna. I used it frequently to rest and warm up between sightseeing. The plan didn't include meals, but you can order a buffet or curry for breakfast by contacting them. However, there's Nijo Market nearby, and there are restaurants that are open from morning, so if you're already sightseeing, it might be worth checking out. It's located southeast of the TV tower, about a 5-10 minute walk. It seems quite convenient for sightseeing. It seemed a little difficult to access from Sapporo Station, but if you're coming from New Chitose, it might be easier to transfer to the subway at Shin-Sapporo. The only thing I noticed was that the curtains were thin, so it felt like people across the street could see into the room.
