Hotel Horidome Villa

The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, the room smelled moldy, and the overall room was dark and the power outlets were poorly placed, making them difficult to use.

The hotel has everything you need, it's comfortable, the water pressure is good, and the location is convenient with a Lawson convenience store very close by and delicious, affordable restaurants nearby. They were very kind to let us check in at 12:30 pm when we arrived. Highly recommended.

Dear Sir/Madam, I wish to bring to your attention a particularly regrettable situation that occurred during my stay at the Horidome Villa Hotel, concerning the organization of my departure and the behavior of a member of your night staff. On Tuesday, January 13th, I approached a receptionist to arrange my departure for Wednesday, January 14th at 5:30 a.m., asking if it was possible to book an Uber or a taxi through the hotel. He confirmed that this was possible. I told him that I would also look into it myself and that I would contact the hotel if necessary. This information was noted and confirmed by him. Upon my return later that evening, another employee (night shift) was present. I explained the situation to him. From the outset, his attitude was very defensive, aggressive, and unprofessional: raised voice, hostile gaze, refusal to listen calmly to my request, and a complete lack of customer service. It must be added that he was pleasant and smiling with the other guests but hostile with us. When I asked him, quite legitimately, about the potential extra charges for a very early departure, he casually replied that he would call to find out. After this call, he told me that he had "never been able to get hold of anyone" and that, in his words, "it's just bad luck," so it was impossible to know the price. This response is unacceptable in a hotel catering to tourists. I then asked for clear confirmation that the taxi was indeed booked. He replied that it was, but still in an aggressive, authoritarian, and unpleasant tone, even going so far as to reprimand me sharply, insisting excessively on the requirement to be present at exactly 5:30 a.m., which I nevertheless complied with. On Wednesday, January 14, I went downstairs at 5:20 a.m., with my suitcases, accompanied by my cousin. The taxi booked by the hotel never arrived. We waited for about 15 minutes without any information or explanation. Given the urgency of the situation, I had to take a taxi on my own so as not to miss my appointment. When I pointed out that the taxi hadn't arrived despite the complaints I'd received the day before, the employee refused to take responsibility. Even worse, he then interrupted my personal taxi to ask for directions, even though I was already running late—which was completely inappropriate. This experience reveals: • a total lack of organization, • poor communication, • and above all, aggressive and unprofessional behavior on the part of this employee. This is not a simple oversight or logistical error, but a serious breach of standards of hospitality and respect, especially in a hotel catering to an international clientele. I wanted to share this experience with you so that it can be taken into consideration and so that no other customer has to experience a similar situation.
