What was supposed to be a relaxing break turned into a terrible experience. From the moment I set foot in the hotel, the service went downhill fast. I was greeted by Jerry at reception, a guy who seemed to think he was doing me a favor just for breathing the same air. Zero empathy, zero problem-solving skills, and a level of apathy I've rarely seen in this industry. I raised a couple of basic needs, the logical demands of any guest, and the response was complete indifference. Jerry was incapable of managing anything at all; he just stared blankly at me while the hotel service fell apart. But the worst part was the noise. Construction going on until 11 pm? Can you explain to me what kind of thinking that was? Impossible to relax, impossible to work, impossible to do anything. The sound of drills and banging at that hour was a total lack of respect for the customer who pays for hotel services, not a guided tour of a construction site. In short: appalling management, a receptionist who's a real nuisance, and a hotel that shows no respect for guests or their rest. A complete disaster that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The hotel is very well located opposite Las Ramblas, where you can easily take a walk. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. Comfortable bed and extremely clean environment. I recommend it!
