We had booked four nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were given our room and found a pleasant surprise: the bathroom didn't match the one shown in the photos on the website at all. There was neither a shower tray nor a tub, but rather a showerhead hanging on the wall and a drain on the floor to drain the water. We immediately asked for an explanation, but the person who greeted us sent us back to the next morning to speak with management. When we asked for an explanation of the discrepancy between the photos shown on the website and that bathroom (not even in Africa), the owner told us that a couple had decided to extend their vacation and therefore, the room originally reserved for us was occupied. He offered no apology for the inconvenience. To be fair, he simply offered us a room change, which we declined, given the lack of seriousness/consistency and the fact that the price of the stay didn't reflect the service offered. We even offered to cut the price, considering that one of us practically stood in the water while doing his business in the middle of the night, while someone had showered just before bed, but they refused. We paid in full for the single night and left. Overall, this is a property in need of modernization in various respects. Not recommended.
