Quaint hotel in great location. Our room is a delux double, great space, with blackout curtains, in the back of hotel - wonderful sleep experience. The bathroom is clean, with a big bath/shower combo, good flow and loads of hot water. Sofa in room and plenty of storage. Nice little care package, tea/coffee service and small touches like bathrobes and wrapped bath slippers. King bed with good mattress and spotless cotton sheets. It's old fashioned and that is why we booked it. To a particular type of reviewer from overseas: if you don't like old hotels, please don't book this and then complain on Trip Advisor etc. that it is not modern. Find a Hilton, or similar chain, and pay for that experience instead - everyone will be the happier for your decision. This is a lovely Italian hotel and I reccommend it highly to the discerning tourist.
