Fantastic experience for 5 nights. We met the manager Lara. She is so kind and super helpful. She and her staff took amazing care of our family. The staff at the hotel was 5 star across the board. Very clean and decorated classy hotel. Felt nicer than 5 star US hotel experiences

We stayed at Hotel Isa for a week over New Year's. The hotel's location is fantastic. All the major sights are within walking distance. St. Peter's Basilica is just a 10-minute walk away. A highlight is the wonderful rooftop terrace. It offers a magnificent view of St. Peter's Basilica, and on New Year's Eve, we were able to admire the fireworks over the city. The staff, whether at reception, the bar, or at breakfast, were always very friendly and accommodating. Our room was relatively large. The bathroom was also very spacious, with a window and a large open shower. However, the large window didn't close properly, and since the heating wasn't very powerful, the bathroom was always quite cold. The room had a historical design, which is certainly a matter of taste, but it definitely suits the city. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit no longer had any labels. We couldn't get the room to cool down with it. As a result, it was very warm at night. Sleeping with the window open was also difficult because the street was very noisy. The mattress and especially the pillows were very hard. The pillows weren't filled with feathers, but with memory foam. The room was very noisy. Housekeeping started their work noisily before 8 a.m., and a landline phone in the hallway rang frequently. Sleeping in was out of the question. Breakfast wasn't very good. There was little choice, and nothing was replenished at any time. The juices were all from a carton. There were hardly any vegetables. Overall, we were rather disappointed with our stay and wouldn't come back.
