Magnificent setting, ideal location, friendly welcome, comfortable room. The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was the breakfast: for €32 per person, you only get a croissant, a piece of bread, and a rusk so hard you could break your teeth on it. And when I dared to ask the young woman serving if it was possible to have a second croissant, I was curtly told, "No, it's one per person! We order them according to the number of guests, and it's one per person." And of course, she didn't offer me anything else. Needless to say, as soon as I left the hotel, I stopped at the first bakery I saw. In short, as someone accustomed to five-star hotels and Relais & Châteaux properties, I felt like I was in a run-of-the-mill youth hostel! This was my second stay at the Maison de Rhodes (the first must have been in 2018 or 2019), but I don't recall such a mishap, otherwise I obviously wouldn't have come back. But now I've learned my lesson: never again!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day stay at Maison de Rhodes. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, and the restaurant was intimate with quick and attentive service (we even had the opportunity to chat with the chef who came to make sure everything was going well and share a few secrets with us). A stay at the hotel that made us feel right at home!
