We just completed a 4 night stay at le six. Foremost, as others have stated, the people here are extremely friendly and accommodating - highlight of the property including the famous Charles lol but also rest of staff equally supportive. This alone is a reason to return. Our room 302 was generous in space as a superior room which was appreciated having large luggage and we could still navigate efficiently which can be a challenge in some Parisian hotels. Large shower, good pressure and no issues on all things working. Good storage for clothes as well and a good base Location to explore rive gauche. On any review I prefer constructive candour in support of the hotel and future guests. In that regard there were some recommendations to the property. First, the king bed was sizeable and okay however as another guest noted a pillow top to add to mattress would be recommended for comfort, depending on how hard a mattress one prefers. Something to ask for if interested. Second, the tv lacks latest technology - had some challenges chromecasting to all Streaming services (Amazon worked but Disney Netflix and Apple TV did not) and no English TV channels, but of course we were in France, however many hotels of 4 stars include. We got through it via YouTube- again maybe not a concern for all guests. Third, and most important for us, is we had asked for a quieter room which the team accommodated however we found noise was a challenge. Road noise along with some ambient metro we believe were evident as window/door didn’t have latest triple panes to block noise. Also we had issues with both upstairs tenants making noise possible from wood floors walking In shoes but it was quite annoying and a loud family next door, including door closings, for 2 nights exposed noise between rooms…the hotel couldn’t control guest behaviour of course but it did impact our stay and something to be aware. Wishing the people well!
