Excellent. Thank you so much to the incredibly friendly hotel staff. I received a perfect welcome from the two young men and was able to check into my room early. Impeccable cleanliness. This hotel is now in my top 5 favorite hotels in Germany.

I had an accessible room. Unfortunately, we had two separate beds. My girlfriend and I couldn't sleep in the same bed, which was a real shame. Breakfast was great.

We had a family room (family with two toddlers). The room was very clean and spacious. However, there was no small refrigerator, which was rather inconvenient for us, as our older child drinks a bottle twice a day and we couldn't find anywhere to keep his milk cold. We also couldn't keep the yogurt our younger child liked to eat between meals cold. We ended up stocking up on other snacks and quickly buying 300ml bottles of milk in small Tetra Paks for our older child at Rewe supermarket. When traveling with an infant, you also need a kettle, which this room didn't have. There was also nowhere to keep expressed breast milk, etc., cold. There wasn't even a small play area for children in the hotel to draw or do anything else. Everyone seemed family-friendly, but for us, it felt more like a business hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly. The location is good, and there is outdoor parking available for €10 per day. Right next to the hotel is an Aldi/Rewe supermarket, and a 5-minute walk away is a large Alnatura/DM drugstore and a kebab shop with reasonable prices. The old town is about a 20-minute drive or a few stops away by train. In conclusion: It's conditionally suitable for a short stay with a family with small children, but for a longer holiday with such young children, I would definitely recommend a hotel that is child-friendly (a family hotel) where it's not a problem if the children laugh loudly in the breakfast room, etc. Unfortunately, we received a few disapproving looks, even though it really wasn't a big deal.
