We recently stayed at this hotel for two days. The staff is quite friendly. It's a very old, charming hotel, but the facilities could use a bit of renovation... the shower screen didn't close properly and all the water spilled out, and the toilet was so close to the toilet paper holder that we had to sit sideways to avoid hitting it. Best of all, the location and the super comfortable mattress. The lady who prepares it adds a lot of things to the breakfast, but we still found it a bit pricey.

This is an old hotel but everything was perfect for us. The bed was comfy, pillows nice, clean and quiet, bathroom small but good shower and nice hot water. Breakfast was good great coffee. It is a bit dated but has so much memorabilia found it fascinating. The staff are exceptional made us feel very welcome. A very homely feel about the place. Great location on river front with easy stroll around small town.
