Excellent experience, I have stayed there twice on special occasions. Peaceful environment. Tasting menu at the 1497 restaurant with delicious vegetarian options. AIRE Spa, a time to disconnect and relax. Friendly staff. All in all a 10 :)

The feeling after one night is that we stayed in a rural hotel, a nice one, admittedly, but more so than a 5-star hotel. I agree with the reviews that the rooms are very basic and small, and the poor maintenance is evident. We stayed in a superior double room with a garden, but the garden is just a small patch of lawn in mediocre condition with little privacy, and the hammock was falling apart. The towels and bathrobes were quite worn. The staff is very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful, but not enough to justify the price of a night's stay. Dinner at the 1497 restaurant was good, and breakfast at the Cibus restaurant was also pleasant, with the exception that we weren't informed about the services available beyond the buffet. The staff only mentioned the buffet to us after we finished and saw other hot dishes on the tables. At the very least, they should have a menu or something to show us other options, considering the price of the stay. Finally, before leaving, we asked at reception if we could buy a chocolate bar for our son, just like the one in the room. We were shocked to be charged €8.50 for the bar, double the price on the brand's website and in-store (the bars don't cost more than €4). The price discrepancy is unbelievable; I hope it's at least making a profit for the brand, though I highly doubt it.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature! There's nothing near the hotel, no shops, and the services are expensive! Access by car is difficult because the dirt road has potholes; watch out for low-clearance vehicles.
