Medsur-Alone Hotel

Stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period with the IMSERSO group. Nice, clean hotel just a short walk from the small sandy bay. In addition, it's only a short walk to range of shops and facilities at the Centro Commercial La Marina, near to the N332. We walked there on a couple of occasions in less than 15 minutes, steady pace. At the other side of the Commercial Centre is the TRAM service to either Alicante or to the north and Denia. There is a local bus stop right outside the hotel, but we didn't use that service. There is limited car parking at the hotel itself but if no spaces are available, there are plenty of street parking spaces available. The real high points for us both were twofold, firstly, the staff were extremely friendly but professional at all times and even helped me with my pronunciation when my limited Spanish failed me. 10/10 for all the staff. The second and most impressive, was the very high standard of the food in the restaurant, both in quality of the dishes and their presentation. We were treated to an excepionally high standard "gala" dinner on Christmas Eve and then a second and equally impressive meal on Christmas Day itself. A real treat for us both. The chefs and the waiting staff in the restaurant are singled out for very high praise indeed. Overall, we would be happy to return to the Hotel Alone and are more than happy to recommend its staff and services to other travellers and holiday makers.

I spent Christmas at this hotel and I loved it. The beds were big and comfortable, everything was very clean, and the kitchen was very good, even though I'm not a big cook and don't like everything. All the staff were great... and Manu was fantastic!

10-day stay including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A very good experience, great buffet, and great staff. Cleanliness, waiters, entertainment staff... We'll be back! A 10 out of 10 for Manu and Alicia.
