This isn't 4-star, absolutely not. The main problem is that the hotel only offers parking if you book online; if you book through an agent, you park on the street. This isn't mentioned in the offer. It's dirty, really dirty. The lobby is already a disgrace, like a neglected aquarium – a disaster. The restaurant, where the floors are better, and the seats are only lightly worn. The furnishings are old and worn. The room is poor, with old furniture, and once again, dirty. The tables are covered in dust, the wardrobes are old, and the refrigerators in the rooms are in poor condition – it's a shame to offer such a thing to people. The balcony wasn't any better – mold was growing on the roof, and the pool also needs a major overhaul. Overall, the facility is very run-down. The service at the reception was pleasant, and in the restaurant, with the exception of the maitre d', they were also friendly and professional. It was clear that there was a lack of communication between the staff, and it was very noticeable. Meals were served, ordered in the morning (I honestly don't know what I'll crave in the evening while drinking coffee, though I understand that I'm going myself). The meals were, well, poor quality, but the chef certainly tried. Fruit was limited (apart from breakfast, which had a buffet and included a "salad" made from leftover fruit from the previous day). The waiters tried very hard to make a good impression on guests, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough for my needs. It's definitely not a 4-star standard, although the price for the stay was on par with good hotels... the bad taste will linger. The beach nearby is paid and not the cleanest. The location near the resort center and good ice cream parlors is a plus. I consider the hotel choice not well-considered, but with our day-to-day travel style, we usually don't have much choice. If you plan your trip in advance, choose another place.
