Friendly staff and excellent location, the room was good, but it was just a bit too warm and the indoor air was very dry. The bed felt too warm for us, unfortunately we didn't sleep well.

I stayed alone at the Clarion Hotel in Helsinki and had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that style and atmosphere are paramount: the design is modern, elegant, and yet cozy. Everything feels high-quality and clean, and you immediately get that "you can really unwind here" feeling. I found the hotel particularly pleasant when traveling alone. You have peace and quiet, but you don't feel "lost" because the entire ambiance is simply inviting. The concept feels well-thought-out and sophisticated without being stiff or impersonal. An absolute highlight for me was the breakfast. The selection was truly extensive and varied, and everything seemed fresh. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, there was something for everyone, and it was all beautifully presented. It's exactly how you want to start the day, especially when you're traveling alone and simply appreciate a really good breakfast. Another thing I really loved was the gym. For a hotel gym, it was surprisingly well-equipped and genuinely enjoyable. You can really get a proper workout there, not just "a little cardio." That was a huge plus for me and made my stay even better, because I was able to complete my training without any problems. Overall, I can absolutely recommend the Clarion Hotel in Helsinki – especially if you appreciate modern design, a great breakfast, and a really good gym. I would definitely come back.

Located in the heart of Helsinki, this hotel is ideal for getting around the city. It's within walking distance of Helsinki Central Station, Temppeliaukio Church, and the ferry to Suomenlinna Island. The city also has a tram system, which you can use by the hour or day for a flat rate. The breakfast menu is incredibly varied and sure to satisfy. The room was also very clean and comfortable, with every piece of furniture stylishly appointed. The front desk staff were also very courteous. Note for foreign tourists: toothbrushes, slippers, and other items are not provided in Finland. You need to swipe your room key card to access the elevator.
