Hotel Metamorphis

Perfect stay in the heart of Prague! Hotel Metamorphis offers clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and an amazing location by Old Town Square. The staff is friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely return!

Hotel Metamorphis is beautifully situated in the heart of Prague. Everything is easily accessible on foot: Wenceslas Square, the clock, the Vltava River... The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is explained clearly at reception, and you always feel there's someone there to listen. The room... wow! It has everything you need. The bed in the hallway takes some getting used to, but it's functional. The bathroom, especially the shower, is enormous, but in a good way. It's bigger than our entire bathroom at home! 😉 I was charmed by the old ceiling and the decorative wall and ceiling ornaments. The bed itself is firm, but you get used to it. A plus for families with younger children: there's so much space in the bed that three or four people can easily fit. It's so cozy! 😍 Sleeping with the window open can be bothersome in the summer. Other guests in the adjacent bars and restaurants in the courtyard can be a bit noisy. Simply walking along the path leads to the famous Prague Clock. Since we were there in winter, it wasn't too noisy. However, those sensitive to noise should bring earplugs. Breakfast isn't served in the hotel itself, but a two-minute walk away in another hotel. The dining area consists of two charming, separate rooms: one for sweet and one for savory breakfast. The friendly staff are located in the savory section. Breakfast itself is a buffet with everything you could want. The caramel cream is especially addictive. Since we were only there for three days and enjoyed it so much, we'll definitely be back.
