Hotel MOTTO

We spent six nights at Hotel Motto and ended up experiencing two room types — the Deluxe room for the first two nights and then a Junior Suite for the remainder of our stay. Both were excellent in slightly different ways, and the upgrade made a wonderful trip even better. The first thing that strikes you about this hotel is the design. The entire property feels romantic, glamorous and slightly dreamy, with a kind of old-world Parisian elegance layered with modern comfort. It’s the rare hotel where every space — the lobby, hallways, rooms, rooftop — feels thoughtfully designed and cohesive. What truly made the stay special, though, was the service. The front desk team is outstanding — warm, personable, and genuinely welcoming. Nora in particular was an absolute dream and made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The rooms themselves were beautifully done. One detail that deserves special mention is the excellent soundproofing and privacy in the bathroom areas — both the toilet and shower spaces are thoughtfully separated, which makes the rooms feel much more comfortable and livable for a longer stay. We ordered room service burgers one evening, and they were surprisingly excellent — even the gluten-free bun was very good, which is rare in hotels. The rooftop views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the spa area, but the space looks beautiful and well designed from what we saw. The hotel was also incredibly thoughtful during our stay. On my birthday they surprised me with a card and a beautiful treat from the bakery Motto Brot, which sits right at the edge of the property and is absolutely worth visiting if you stay here. We actually ended up going there every day during our trip. Another lovely touch: champagne at check-in, which set the tone immediately. Overall, Hotel Motto feels like a place where you can truly settle in and make it your home away from home — only far more glamorous. A stylish, warm, and memorable stay in Vienna! (I only wish that would’ve taken more photos!!) next time!

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Motto. The decoration is super tasteful and modern and the reception team is lovely. The location is great and room was beautiful and cozy. Would come back over and over.

I traveled to Vienna alone and chose this hotel for my stay. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. The reception staff were a bit rude at times, which was the only downside of my experience. However, the housekeeping service was great and the hotel facilities were very good and well maintained. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and I would definitely come back and stay here again.
