Special thanks to Nicolas, who was always available to find solutions for my extended stay, and to Halima at the restaurant, who was always very welcoming, professional, and kind. I fell ill during my stay at the hotel, and both of them took exceptional care of me, which certainly changed my opinion of some minor issues regarding the room (maintenance, limescale in the shower, window seals – cold and noise).

Stays at the Hôtel National in Paris in November (two stays, for a total of approximately €2,000). I'm not one to leave negative reviews! Despite a clear and repeated request for a quiet room, I was given a room on the first floor, facing a very busy street, resulting in constant noise, even though other rooms were available. This request was clearly ignored. Even when I was offered an upgrade! Zero consideration for customer needs and expectations! The room was not clean enough, with visible dust and cleaning that did not meet the standards expected for this price range. See photo - the black containers are sticky; it's clearly dirty and unhygienic. A booking problem forced me to pack my suitcase in a hurry, while I had a fever, resulting in a delay to both medical appointments and work. Two rather stressful, but not relaxing, stays. Following these stays, I filed a full and detailed complaint. This required several hours of phone calls with numerous contacts (hotel management, customer relations department, and correspondence with the Hotel Belle Plage in Nice – same group, you can go there with your eyes closed thanks to Vera in guest relations). ➡️ To date: no response, no solution, no follow-up, despite repeated reminders. From Paris. For a hotel group of this caliber, this complete lack of customer service is incomprehensible and unacceptable. The manager is condescending and doesn't believe his guests! He has to go check the hotel's security cameras, not to see who's behind them, but tells you, "That's not true, Madam!" Absurd! Absolutely no respect for customers. Zero service. The good points: the bar, the cocktails, the location, and the decor.

Hotel is in a great location. Comfortable, equipped to a high standard. Very kind staff. We vacated the room late at 2:00 PM without charge. There is a cozy bar on the ground floor with excellent cocktails. We will be back.
