We stayed at Hotel Nemzeti as a couple for four days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome at reception, which immediately made us feel at home. Ambiance & Rooms The building is beautiful inside and exudes an almost regal charm. The staircases, in particular, with their red carpet and numerous mirrors, are a real eye-catcher. Our room was a comfortable size and was thoroughly cleaned daily. However, the interior does show its age in some places – for example, the paint was peeling from some of the wood. A minor drawback for us was the mattress, which was unfortunately a bit worn. This isn't ideal for guests with sensitive backs. Breakfast & Service We were absolutely delighted with the breakfast! It was very plentiful, and they were exemplary in their attention to allergies and intolerances. Lactose-free milk and even gluten-free bread were readily available, which isn't always the case. All the staff were consistently incredibly friendly throughout our stay. Location & Accessibility The location is unbeatable for city trips: a metro and a suburban train station are directly opposite. However, since the hotel is located on a main road, you should be prepared to occasionally hear emergency vehicle sirens at night and for it to be a bit noisy during the day.

We had a great stay for 3 nights at this hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful, not all that experienced hence the 4 stars. We got a room at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor, looking out over the street which was amazing, the ceiling in the room was at least 4,5m height which was super nice. We enjoyed are stay very much. The rooms were also very clean. Only the bathroom and joinery could’ve been a bit nicer but the amenities were there. Location was also top notch. Metro tram and bus right infront of the door, very central. Just know, the sirens can be a bit noisy during the night. And the breakfast is so so, wide variety of options but not everything tastes great
