Hotel Nestroy Wien

We stayed for 2 nights in August. We stayed in a suite with balcony and it was unreal. Room was massive and friends got the suite next door. Very nice and clean and all staff polite and helpful. We would recommend and stay again.

We were pleased with the high standard of cleanliness. The room was not only spotless but also impressively spacious. This positive impression continued into the bathroom, which we also found to be unusually spacious and impeccably clean. The hotel's location was another significant advantage. It is perfectly situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, which was wonderful for getting a good night's sleep. We were also able to walk to the downtown core easily, and for other trips, the proximity to major bus, metro, and train stations was a fantastic benefit, making all our travel logistics incredibly simple. While the hotel has its merits, there were two significant shortcomings that impacted the overall value of our stay. Firstly, given the premium rates we paid, we were very surprised and disappointed to discover that breakfast was not included. At this price point, a complimentary breakfast is a reasonable expectation and its omission felt unjustified. Secondly, we found the bathroom appointments to be lacking a crucial feature for personal hygiene. The complete absence of any bidet facilities, or even a handheld bidet sprayer, was a major oversight. This is a standard amenity for many international travelers, and we consider it essential for proper hygiene.

We had a wonderful time in Vienna. The hotel definitely contributed to that. The room was cozy and clean. We enjoyed peaceful nights. The 2nd district is close to the city center, easily accessible by public transport or on foot, yet not too hectic. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. It was the perfect start to the day. The small birthday gift was a particularly nice surprise. Thank you again for that. Should we visit Vienna again, we would gladly stay at this hotel again.
