First of all, the hotel is built on a cliff, with the reception on the 17th floor and the floors below that. That means the views are spectacular, and the sunrise was amazing. Also, the buffet was unmatched in terms of size, number of dishes, and the quality of the flavor of all the food. Also, if you take a closer look at the dragon panel displayed in the hallway on the way to the spa, you'll see that it's made up entirely of small photographs, which is an incredible sight and well worth a look.

Ocean views everywhere you look. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise and sea. I could see the ocean from the hot spring, the window, and the garden. The view from the hot spring on the 15th floor was amazing. The ReFa hair dryer and the extensive amenities were very helpful. There were also extra buses, so I was able to get home early. Even though I stayed on the Sunday and Monday nights, it was very crowded for dinner and breakfast, but they handled it well. Small spoons weren't replenished very often, though... The buffet had the most variety of any I've ever been to and was very satisfying. The sweet potato, pudding, and French toast were especially delicious. The menu was different for breakfast and dinner, so I never got bored. The charger in the room was broken and unusable. Groups and families were speaking loudly, and the walls felt thin. Disappointingly, the staff didn't know how much the washing machine would cost. They didn't even bother to look. There was a lot of dust on the walls. The air conditioner in the room was dusty too. There are areas for improvement, but if you like Atami, I recommend staying here at least once. I'm glad I stayed there.
