We had a very disappointing experience staying here. I really hate leaving bad reviews, and generally the hotel seemed nice, however... A few hours after checking in, around 10pm while we were already in bed, we found a bed bug crawling along the sheets. This is obviously a serious hygiene concern in any hotel. When we reported it to reception, the staff said they could not confirm that it was a bed bug (which it clearly was. I would attach pictures but will spare everyone), but offered either a different room or a refund. While we appreciate that those options were offered, what was most surprising was the complete lack of acknowledgement or apology for the situation. Discovering a bed bug in your room late at night is extremely stressful and concerning, and at the very least we expected some form of apology or assistance. Instead, we ended up having to leave the hotel around 11pm to find alternative accommodation ourselves. No help or support was offered in arranging this. Thankfully, Booking.com resolved the issue quickly for us afterwards. However, the hotel's response on the night itself was disappointing and lacked the level of care and responsibility we would expect in this situation. Sadly, we would not recommend staying here.

I just stayed 5 nights at the Niwa hotel Tokyo. This hotel is immaculate!!! I cannot make a single bad comment about it. Thumbs up to the staff and to the management. You are the ultimate standard in the hospitality industry! I'll be back!

A great place for anyone traveling Tokyo. Really close to train stationd (Sobu and Mita lines). A quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurant to try around. The staffs are very helpful and communicate well in English. The rooms are always clean and we appreciate the amenities that the hotel have - everyone will appreciate the massage chair after a long day of walking. We will definitely book this hotel again if we travel Tokyo in the future.
