Hotel Oceano

Well, to begin, I want to mention the good things about the "hotel." The location is perfect, that's all. Now for what I didn't like: As soon as I arrived and went to check in, they told me I couldn't enter until at least 3:00 PM because they were cleaning the room, even though the reservation stated it was earlier. But that's understandable, it's not a big deal. What isn't understandable is that when I made the reservation through their website, I chose a room with a sea view terrace, and then when I got to the hotel, they told me my reservation didn't have a sea view, that such a room doesn't exist there. This seems strange to me, especially since the website showed a room with a sea view terrace. Anyway, I'm still putting up with it... When we finally got to the room, there was an overwhelming smell of fried food. "I don't usually complain," but it was disgusting. And that's not all. When we went to shower, all the water came out through the shower screen, flooding the bathroom. I went downstairs to tell the hotel staff, and they rushed to change my room. My suitcases were unpacked, and I had to pack everything again. To my surprise, when we got upstairs to the new room, it was a disabled room. The bathroom sink was very low, and the shower curtain was also leaking. In short, we only stayed two nights, even though we had paid for four, because it was unbearable. IF YOU WANT A SHITTY VACATION, THIS IS YOUR HOTEL. Oh, and I almost forgot, the breakfast was meager: three croissants and not even a cup of hot chocolate. The service was incredibly unpleasant, except for the young woman who was somewhat understanding.

Okay, so here's my experience. We arrived worried we wouldn't find anything, and right there on the promenade, we found the hotel. You get to reception and they have rooms available, no sea view, €75 with breakfast included. You go up to the room and barely take anything, but you leave everything and go explore Nazaré. In our case, we had dinner in the restaurant itself, which wasn't bad... When we returned to the room after our walk, well, the room was small, the bed was awful, the bathroom was very uncomfortable and small, and despite there being other hotels nearby, we decided to stay another day because we didn't want to unpack. I didn't want to... In short, two days in this hotel felt like forever. The smell of crab and some of the staff's nonsense... I wouldn't recommend it.
