Hotel Ofutei

Since visiting here, I haven't been able to find a better inn. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The open-air bath on the upper floors was sparsely populated and had a great view! The lounge was also very well-equipped and well worth the price. I'd definitely like to visit again.

~Silence~ To coincide with our daughter's school trip, my husband and I chose Tomonoura for our first trip in a long time. We'd dropped by Tomonoura on a random trip two years ago, captivated by the night lights blending into the sunset sky. We'd talked about returning soon, and from the car, we spotted Hotel Ofutei, gently lit in the twilight. Two years have passed since then. The other day, while my daughter was away, I stayed there. I was shown to my room, and the moment I opened the door, I was greeted by a silvery sea. The sunset sky and morning glow framed the ridge of Sensuijima Island floating in the sea. The large windowpane made the view even more striking. As I sat by the window and looked out, I suddenly realized. It was so quiet I could hear my own breathing. That's right, there are no roads below the hotel, and no large ships pass by on the sea in front of us. It was truly silent. The other guests were probably quiet because they were also experiencing this scenery and silence as a page in their lives. And the food, made with seafood and mountain produce caught in these fertile mountains and seas, was bound to be delicious. This time we only stayed one night, but on the way back my wife and I talked about bringing our daughter along and staying two nights, or even three if possible, as a family of three, as we left Hiroshima. Thank you to all the cast members at Ofutei. You provided the best hospitality. We hope to see you again.

I stayed here with my sister on a trip I hadn't seen in a while. There were no rooms with a lounge available, so we got a standard Japanese-style room, but the ocean view was beautiful and I was very satisfied.😍 I usually end up leaving too much food, but this time the portions were just right and everything was delicious.✨ Anyway, the female waitress was wonderful and attentive, and I was blown away by her hospitality.🥰 I wanted to express my gratitude in some way, so I'm writing my first review.🍀 I love luxurious, clean, new hotels, but ultimately, it was the Japanese spirit of hospitality that drew me in, and it made me want to stay here again.✨ Thank you for your hospitality.☺️
