Nice historic hotel close to the Berkshires. Room rate was very reasonable for one night. Definitely recommend the hotel if you want to be walking distance from restaurants and bars. Hotel and room were very clean and well maintained. Lots of historical charm and definitely prefer staying at locally owned places vs corporate chains. Great choice for a place to stay for skiing or other activities in the area.

My husband and I flew across country to Pittsfield for surgery. I chose The Hotel on North at first because of it’s proximity to the hospital and it looked so charming. From the very first phone call, I knew this hotel was different. The service is top notch. Andrew helped coordinate my stay and is an extraordinary host. He understood my needs for after surgery and put me in a room that suited my needs and exceeded my expectations. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s lovely home rather than a hotel. It was quiet, cozy, very comfortable and with room to move around. The staff was always available if we needed something. Having surgery is no vacation, but recovering in a place you feel safe and well cared for is rare when you’re not at home. The restaurant that shares space with the hotel is also wonderful and they offer room service. We enjoyed a few delicious meals delivered to our room Whether you are coming for vacation or for surgery, I recommend this lovely beautifully renovated hotel.
