Hotel Oregon

A truly excellent hotel!! We received a very warm welcome from the incredibly kind owner!! The rooms are very nice and clean! The hotel is very reasonably priced and very well located, about 30-40 minutes by public transport from the city center and very well served by public transport (tram stop less than 30 meters from the hotel). Regarding some negative comments about the "tram noise," don't worry, you can't hear it. If you're looking for a great hotel for a weekend stay near the center of Milan, go for it! You'll be very well received!!

We checked into the hotel around 1:30 PM on December 30th. When we entered the room, it was as cold as outside. The receptionist didn't understand English at all, and despite using translation apps, they weren't convinced the room was cold. It took me 30 minutes to persuade them to come up to the room, and in the end, they gave me a broken heater held together with tape. The rooms weren't clean, and I didn't feel safe at all. It was the worst hotel experience of my life, and I don't think it will ever lose that title. I especially advise guests planning to stay in winter to absolutely avoid room 107. Communication was zero, and there was no willingness to help. I would have had a better experience camping outside. The rooms were not clean, and I didn't feel safe at all. There is no communication and no solution to problems. I would have had a better time pitching a tent on the street. Abbiamo fatto il check-in il 30 dicembre intorno alle 13:30. Quando siamo entrati in camera, la temperatura interna era la stessa di quella esterna. L'addetto alla reception non capiva affatto l'inglese e, nonostante l'uso di app di traduzione, non si convinceva che la stanza fosse gelida. Ci sono voluti 30 minuti per convincerlo a salire in camera, solo per ricevere una stufetta rotta tenuta insieme con il nastro adesivo. Le camere non erano pulite e non mi sono sentito affatto al sicuro. È stata la peggiore esperienza in hotel della mia vita e dubito che qualcun altro riuscirà mai a rubare questo primato. Consiglio vivamente agli ospiti che viaggiano inverno di non accettare la camera 107 se viene proposta. Comunicazione inesistente e nessun problema viene risolto. Sarebbe stato meglio dormire in tenda per strada.

Excellent choice, spacious and clean room, parking included (not easy to find in the area!), and the hosts Gerardo and Alfredo are extremely helpful and kind. I'll definitely be back!
