Hotel Orle

Last week, my husband and I spent four wonderful days at the Hotel Orle. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel's location is wonderful. Five minutes through the woods and you're right by the sea. We had wonderful weather, so we took advantage of the time to walk to the headland to the "Mewia Łacha" Nature Reserve. Keep in mind that it's a 13-14 km round trip, but it's really worth it. We got a room with a balcony, which we had chosen when booking our stay. It was very pleasant and clean. The bathroom was small but very well-equipped. As for the meals, the meals were home-cooked, varied, and plentiful. You'll leave stuffed, but you still won't be able to try everything. Of course, there will always be those who don't like it, but I remind them that this is a three-star hotel. If you want more sophisticated cuisine, five-star hotels do exist. The hotel also has a wonderful swimming pool with warm water and a jacuzzi. We had the pleasure of participating in the aqua aerobics classes, which were run expertly. The meeting with the sommelier was also very interesting. We learned a lot about wine. Every day, the hotel offers various activities for its guests, and we couldn't be happier. Regarding the hotel service: the women in the dining room are like ants, the tables are immediately cleared, and the food is constantly replenished. Whether you arrive for breakfast at 8 or 11, everything is provided, as is dinner, which is served from 5 to 9 p.m. Delicious espresso coffee. Everything is clean and tidy; the staff will explain and help you with a smile. Parking costs 18 PLN per night. Compared to other hotels, this is a nominal amount. The service here is also a big plus. There are drinking water dispensers on every landing, including sparkling water. Overall, this is a charming hotel, and if you want to relax by the sea, away from the hustle and bustle, in peace and quiet, enjoy home-cooked meals, and bask in the sun by the pool, you absolutely must visit.

The location was perfect. We had a superior room and it was fine. It was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was free of mold. The service was very friendly. Breakfast was great. The spa was nice, clean, and had a great atmosphere in the evenings. The only thing missing was water for a drink after the sauna. The massage was okay. However, the restaurant meals were a disappointment. The menu was nice; there must have been a good chef there before. And unfortunately, someone who doesn't know how to cook seems to have taken over after him. It would be good if the manager addressed this huge problem. The broth was a pork and chicken broth. Cloudy and tasteless. The fish soup was made from the same broth. The pork chop on the bone was elegant, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. Instead of panko breadcrumbs, it was plain breadcrumbs. The fried cabbage was raw. The pasta with chicken was spaghetti covered in cream, like a soup. It included pieces of tough chicken. It's a shame, because the meals spoiled the overall picture. The stay was a success, so I recommend it, but I caution against ordering from the menu.

Good breakfasts, renovated and really nice rooms, so there's no comparison to what's in the photos from eight years ago :)
