It's a real shame. We came for work and instead of giving us a twin room, they gave us a double room. A very bad practice that's becoming common all over Europe. We submitted the rooming list several days in advance, but it didn't matter. The cleanliness clearly leaves much to be desired. We left these coffees at 12. We returned at 4 pm and they're still here. It would be good to stop justifying it by saying that rooms are subject to availability. Hotels that try to implement this policy are becoming less and less reliable. We sent the rooming information four days in advance. When we arrived, they had made a mistake, but since we were in a hurry because we had a show, we left and intended to resolve it when we returned. We never imagined that the person on duty that night was a security guard with no ability to solve any problems. Luckily, the island is large and full of hotels. People need to start going to hotels where a twin room is a twin room and a double room is a double room. And if not, book all twin rooms and have them converted to double rooms on the spot. It's unacceptable that they implement these illogical "subject to availability" policies just because all the rooms are booked. Things are simple. I need a twin room. I don't have one. I have a double. Would that work? Yes or no, thank you. Especially since I requested it four days in advance. It's a shame I can't post images; I'd like to share the email confirming they received the rooming list and that it's okay. When you make a mistake, the best thing to do is take responsibility and apologize, not try to justify yourself.
