This hotel is a nightmare; don't be fooled by any tour guide. We had a terrible experience. I didn't want to go to bed, but I had to stay. When I finally did, I felt like I was in a hole, almost touching the dirty floor with animals inside. It was horrible, beyond words.

Old and dirty hotel. The photos on Booking.com are heavily edited and don't reflect reality. Rooms with stains, dirty and rusty bathrooms, very uncomfortable beds, insufficient water pressure, and almost nonexistent Wi-Fi (it's not even strong enough for a connection test). For tourists, it would be good to mention on the website that the hotel doesn't have hot water (common in Santa Marta, but at this price point, other hotels do offer it). The price is very expensive and not in line with the hotel's infrastructure in 2026. The only good thing was that they agreed to refund 3 nights (we had booked 5 and requested cancellation upon arrival). Even so, customer service was poor; they gave us contradictory information on several occasions (even saying they wouldn't refund our money).

I'd like to highlight that the location is quiet and peaceful. The beach is just two blocks away. There are only a few shops and restaurants nearby. Inside, the decor is nice, and the common areas are spacious. The room was pleasant and roomy; only the bathroom was lacking in terms of hygiene and appearance.
