Subject: Complaint following my stay at the Hotel Paris Lafayette Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with my stay at the Hotel Paris Lafayette. Upon arrival, the room was not ready as I had initially requested. This initial inconvenience unfortunately set the tone for the rest of my stay. Furthermore, the air conditioning unit clearly needs servicing: it is particularly noisy and must remain on all night to maintain a minimum level of heat, which significantly detracts from comfort and the quality of my sleep. The bathroom is no better: the shower is extremely cramped, and the hot water takes an abnormally long time to arrive. These combined issues demonstrate a clear lack of attention to guest comfort. The most regrettable aspect, however, remains the breakfast experience. I arrived in the dining room at 9:57 a.m., before the stated closing time. The head waitress had barely begun clearing the table, yet breakfast was refused without any offer of an alternative or even minimal service. Neither she nor the receptionist—more preoccupied with playing with words than taking any initiative to rectify the situation—deemed it necessary to offer a gesture of goodwill or any alternative whatsoever. I find this attitude particularly regrettable. At check-out, I asked to speak with a member of management. Strangely, no manager was present. I then asked for the name of the hotel manager so I could address my complaint directly to them; I was told that this information could not be provided. This lack of transparency and consideration are, in my view, unacceptable. I would sincerely have preferred to express my dissatisfaction directly to a decision-maker, but this was not permitted. This overall attitude reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer service. In light of all these factors, I am particularly disappointed by my experience and cannot, at this time, recommend your establishment. I look forward to your reply and explanation. Sincerely,

Perfect location if you want central but super close to Gare du Nord. check in/check out was really smooth. Room was great, the only thing was that the shower is a bit annoying but everything was very clean. Perfect for a short stay.
