If you're looking for a place for a real, hearty, home-style meal, Picaro Pod Strzechą is definitely worth a visit. We went there somewhat out of curiosity, and we left truly delighted – not only with the food, but also with the atmosphere of the entire place. 🍽️ From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a restaurant with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The interior is spacious, bright, and very cozy – lots of wood, warm lighting, and the kind of atmosphere where you can sit down, chat, and simply enjoy a good meal. The service was very friendly and helpful, everything was served efficiently and with a smile. 😊 But let's get to the most important thing… the żurek (sour rye soup). And here you really need to stop for a moment, because it was an absolute masterpiece. Thick, aromatic, perfectly seasoned, with toppings and potatoes – the kind that you just eat and eat and… don't want it to end. Seriously, I haven't had such good żurek in ages. Absolutely fantastic! 🥣🔥 For the second course, we had pork chops with delicious potatoes – the breading was crispy, the meat juicy, and the portion was generous, as befits a proper Polish dinner. The compote also complemented the whole thing perfectly and brought back the flavors of home-cooked meals. 😄 A big plus for the atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the very pleasant ambiance. It's the perfect place for a quick lunch on the road or a quiet get-together over good food. If someone Googles "good dinner," "żurek," or "restauracja Picaro Pod Strzechą," it's definitely worth a stop. We'll definitely be back – mainly for that legendary żur soup, which could easily win the World Cup. 😄🥣

The lady is misleading about the hotel service, then the customer has to pay for it themselves... Zero willingness to help, sort out the problem, discount... etc. - it's a shame, the quality of the food also leaves much to be desired. If you have to stay overnight - if you don't have to - avoid :/
