Hotel Porto Sol Beach

This is our second time on vacation. It was another fantastic stay... the facilities, location, restaurant, direct beach access and service, plus the friendliness of all the staff, made it all very enjoyable. Only minor things could be improved: the TV and a more stable internet connection... otherwise, everything was spectacular.

A couple with a 12-year-old child stayed for 10 nights, from December 13th to 23rd, 2025. We weren't familiar with the hotel; we chose it based on photos and reviews, and it was a great decision. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but the staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. We paid extra for a room with an ocean view, and while it was very nice, we were given a room on the first floor with a somewhat obstructed view due to the vegetation. After a few days, we spoke with Vanesa and Azul at reception, and as soon as possible, they moved us to another room on the second floor with an incredible view. The reception service was excellent, as was the cleaning, the minibar, and the bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. The double bed was huge and very comfortable. The beach is calm, beautiful, and warm. We had such a wonderful time that we didn't want to go to any other beaches on the island. The gardens are impeccably maintained, and the children's play area is super original, fun, and very well kept. The pool, with its warm water, is ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon after a day at the beach. There are two pools: a children's pool and a larger one, both the same depth of 1.20 meters, which is reassuring if your child spends time playing with other children in the pool. The breakfast is very complete, served from 7 to 10 am. It includes fresh fruit, yogurt, a wide variety of breads and cakes, a deli counter, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, a cereal station, and hot cheese breads. On weekends, they also offer sweet and savory pancakes. Fresh juices are available, and the star of the breakfast for the kids: a Nutella dispenser. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly. I especially want to mention Matías (from Córdoba) and Carlos, who always greeted us with the best attitude and helpful service. The Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the hotel. The restaurant is excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere, and some evenings feature live music while you enjoy your dinner. The prices are reasonable for the location and not significantly different from other restaurants in the area. The menu is varied; I recommend the salmon, the catch of the day, the mixed seafood platter, and the paella. A special mention (+10) to Eduardo, who, besides being a wonderful person, made the most delicious passion fruit caipirinha in the world. We will definitely return, and we will recommend the hotel to everyone who asks us about it. We had a wonderful 10 days, thanks in part to the beautiful weather throughout our stay.
