Hotel Praia da Sereia

I went there on business and was very well attended to by the owners and employees, in addition to the pleasant atmosphere; visibly speaking, a spectacular place.

The staff are super attentive, polite, and helpful; the breakfast is wonderful; the location is near the beach. However, the rest doesn't even deserve a zero rating, it's so bad. The pool area is the worst, unsanitary; I think the tiles have never been washed with a pressure washer. I stayed 7 days in this hotel, the pool was never cleaned, the bathroom in the pool area was disgusting and without toilet paper, everything was very dirty, old, and broken, the sun lounger was broken, the windows were all filthy, the bath towels and sheets were old and stained, the shower was hot but bad because it's too close to the wall, you can't even move underneath, lights were burned out in most of the hotel, the reception area didn't even have air conditioning or a fan, it was a real sauna, the waiting rooms on all floors were very dark, the reception and ground floor corridors were too, the whole hotel is very dark, it gives the impression that it's to save energy, even inside the elevator, super sinister. The TV in the room only gets 2 channels, when it works at all, the bathroom windows were broken, and the bedroom windows too. Old paint, old beds, no wardrobe to store clothes, it's an old, rusty clothes rack, the most horrible thing I've ever seen. Honestly, it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I'll never go back. Not to mention that awful "work of art" at the entrance that looks like it's never been washed or painted. There's no games room, gym, or kids' area; everything is in one place. The kids' area is a tent that barely fits a child inside. Three gym machines don't work, a pool table that doesn't have all the balls, and the bar only offers juice and soda, contrary to what it says on the menu!!! I went on a CVC package, the photos are totally different, they're old photos!!! I don't recommend it!!! It looks like a hotel from a horror movie!!! If anyone is interested because of the price, it's not worth it, and look for updated photos of the hotel!!!

Four of the ground floor bathrooms have water overflowing from the shower drain, causing a bad smell throughout the room. Towels, sheets, and mattress are stained. No repairs.
