The hotel would be very nice, and so would the rooms, if they hadn't made a mistake when they assigned us a 10 square meter single room instead of the standard one we'd booked months earlier!!! They didn't even have the excuse of saying there wasn't room... There were three of us, and it was three nights of discomfort and back pain, unable to move around the room because it was so small... and three of us sleeping in an almost single bed. When I asked to change rooms at reception, the lady told me it was correct, that the standard room was the one. I can assure you that's not the case... and that they were wrong. It's clear from the hotel photos that that was the single room, and our friends had the same category room we booked, but it was double the size. I'm giving it two stars only because, with a suitable room, the hotel would be perfect, but I also believe that when you stay in a hotel, one of the FUNDAMENTAL things is a good night's sleep!!!!! I'm truly sorry for what happened, not only because I don't think it's fair to have paid for a single room the same as a standard-sized room, but especially because we came home with excruciating back pain, having not slept for three nights. If they had resolved the situation at the front desk, things would have been different. Be careful when you book, and be careful who you book with. A huge mistake has been made, and I think it's right to report it.

I stayed one night in room 403 with a private terrace. Quiet and welcoming despite its small size... Excellent bathroom. The bed is incredibly comfortable, something I rarely find in a hotel. Garage for my BMW. The very helpful staff was always smiling and kind. The location in the historic center was strategic. Furthermore, everything was super clean and the breakfast was excellent, although a bit chaotic. A totally positive experience. Francesco Damiani
