Hotel Pur Oporto Boutique

We liked the hotel; the staff were very friendly and attentive. The common areas were adequate and clean. Although it's located on a tourist street, it's away from the hustle and bustle and close to the metro line; although we walked to all the tourist attractions, and I'm already 67 years old. It's a shame there's no dining room, except for breakfast. We ate at the "Automóvil Club de Portugal" near the hotel a couple of days for €10.50, which allowed us to rest for a while before setting off on another route in the afternoon. The room was a bit small, but elegant, and it had everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The TV hidden behind the mirror was a pleasant surprise. As constructive criticism, the bathroom needs a few more hooks, as there's only one, and it's insufficient for two bath towels and a bathrobe. I would definitely return to the same hotel.

Hello A very good hotel, the staff are smiling and polite. Regarding the construction site next to the hotel, they are absolutely not responsible for it. As for the location, for me it's very good. Some people who criticize this should try staying in a hotel right in the city center and see if they don't have noise. And yes, there are many construction sites; it proves that it's a city that's constantly evolving.

Regarding the location, it's not bad, although it's true that you have to walk up a couple of hills to get to the hotel, which is quite normal in Porto, as the streets are very steep. If you're looking to be right in the center of everything, this obviously isn't the best location; even so, I don't consider it badly located. The only criticism I have is that, in the quadruple room, the sofa bed is quite uncomfortable and perhaps doesn't even meet the usual standards for a sofa bed in other hotels.
