I'll just describe the history of this building: Hotel Regina is a former palace built in 1876-1877 by architect Emil Forster in the Neo-Renaissance style for the wealthy Viennese Johann Angerer. The palace owner lived on the first floor, while the remaining rooms were rented. A few years later, a beer hall opened on the ground floor, which operated until 1920. Waiter Georg Kremslehner rented it and in 1907 obtained a hotel license, purchased the entire building, restored it, and opened Hotel Regina. The basement restaurant was designed by Cesar Poppovits. During World War II, the palace was converted into a military hospital. After the war, the palace was requisitioned by the American occupation forces. In 1958, the Kremslehner family regained possession of the palace, restored it, and reopened Hotel Regina. Most of the interiors have been adapted into a hotel, the rooms on the ground floor serve as a restaurant, and on the first floor, some rooms still have coffered ceilings from the original period of the palace's construction.
