HOTEL RELAX II

There were no toothbrushes or combs. The hair dryer had a weak wind. The shower had enough water pressure and heat. Mineral water was in the refrigerator, and when it ran out, you could refill it from the water dispenser on the floor above. Bath towels and a trash can were also replaced daily. The room was small, but since I was out during the day, it didn't bother me. However, the hotel's response to problems was terrible. I requested that towels and trash be replaced in the morning, but when I returned in the evening, nothing had been done. When I contacted the front desk, they said they had no new towels and would deliver them the next morning, then hung up the phone. While they may have forgotten about something due to a mistake, they didn't handle it after that. I persistently negotiated with the front desk to find towels in the available rooms and to check with the group hotels, and I finally managed to get them. I felt that communication within the hotel was poor. This would be unheard of in a Japanese hotel. As long as you don't have any problems, I think it's a reasonably priced option.

It's close to Taipei Station and within walking distance of popular restaurants, so I enjoyed it to the fullest! If you stay three nights, you get one free night, which was a great deal. The bed was comfortable, slippers were provided, and the toilet had flushable paper, which was convenient for me as a Japanese person. Bath towels and face towels were also provided, and two days' worth was provided from the start, so I asked for a towel change on the third day. They'll do it if you ask the front desk by 5 PM, but they don't offer time-specific changes or allow you to bring towels directly to the front desk for exchange, so if you don't want them to come into your room, you'll just have to put up with one day's worth. There was always a staff member at the front desk. My room was on the seventh floor, so the shower pressure was a little weak and the water temperature control was unstable, but it was within acceptable limits. When I tried to wash my underwear in the bathroom, I panicked because I couldn't figure out how to turn the faucet back on, but I pushed it down firmly and it returned to its original position. I'm only 150 cm tall, so the shower head and hangers were high, which was a bit of a challenge. There were plenty of outlets, and they were well-located. There were two bottles of mineral water and coffee, black tea, and oolong tea packets in the room, as well as a kettle, and there was a coffee maker at the front desk with all-you-can-drink options, which we made full use of. The milk menu was unusually extensive, and the cafe latte and milk tea were delicious. Four girls were traveling together, and we each had our own room, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves in our rooms, and we also enjoyed chatting over tea at the lovely front desk. There is another hotel in the same chain nearby, so we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you!
