Lovely hotel in a vintage 70s style. Perfect service! Beautiful location on the Rhine where you can watch all the ships and trains pass by. Good breakfast.

The last renovation was so long ago that this hotel has unfortunately become a real dump. The price-performance ratio is unacceptable. We had room 312, directly facing the Rhine. The view from the covered balcony was fantastic. The housekeeping was excellent and went above and beyond. However, everything else was abysmal. The floor tiles in the elevator are coming loose, posing a significant tripping hazard. The bathroom is ancient and unacceptable. The shower head no longer stays in its holder. The water temperature fluctuates wildly, ranging from scalding to freezing. The shower door doesn't close properly. The breakfast was of the bare minimum standard. Despite these deficiencies, which we pointed out immediately, we were still charged the full price.
