A wonderful vacation. The hotel is very close to the sea and the main street that is the heart of Playa del Carmen, yet the room is quiet and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool. Giada, at the front desk, was our guardian angel, always present even when off duty. She pampered us and guided us through the Riviera Maya. Highly recommended.

Upon arriving at your destination, the setting surrounding the pool already conveys the serenity you'll experience while staying here, a haven that serves as an aperitif for an absolutely serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, well-air-conditioned, and offer a convenient and relaxing outdoor access, keeping the noise of the nightlife at bay. The bathrooms are functional and spacious, especially the shower. Everything is spotlessly clean. The location close to the main road, beaches, and other amenities is another plus, including the adjacent restaurant (run by Italians) where breakfast is served each morning, which is certainly sufficient to get you through the day, or where you can enjoy dinner or lunch with a rich and varied menu. And then there's Giada! She's not the only one who takes care of the guests, but she's undoubtedly light years ahead of everyone else, and I'm not limiting myself to the hotel under review. A shining beacon for every need, be it advice, valuable information, booking excursions or places to eat or drink, transfers and transportation—in short, EVERYTHING—and she will always do it with a smile, kindness, empathy, and professionalism. I won't deny that the description given by many other reviews was the reason for my choice and why I will recommend Caribe Maya without wasting time on further research to anyone seeking the elements described above. It exceeded my already confident expectations, with complete satisfaction!

We had a great experience at this hotel. It's very well maintained, and the restaurant has good prices. If you don't have breakfast included, the cost is 120 MXN per person per day. But the breakfast is quite substantial.
