Very good place recommend place Food is good Calm and relaxing

This resort has potential, but unfortunately our experience was mixed. The property is very old and not well maintained. It feels like there is little investment being made to improve it. The walls have cracks, the paint is old, and there was even some mold visible in certain areas. The bathroom was not very practical . the shower only has a rain shower and no hand shower, which makes it difficult to take a quick shower without getting your hair wet. The air conditioning was another major issue. Almost every night it stopped working automatically, and we woke up feeling extremely hot. The staff tried to fix it, but the problem was never properly resolved. Also, the shower water was only warm, not hot, which was disappointing. The breakfast and dinner buffet was the same every day with very little variety. The food was mostly Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine and quite spicy, with limited international options. That said, the food was generally tasty, and the desserts were good. Please note that although the hotel is located next to the beach and you can clearly see the ocean, this is not a resort suitable for swimming. The beach in front of the hotel is very dangerous, not suitable for swimming, and there is no proper space or access in the front to safely enjoy the beach. On a positive note, the rooms have nice balconies with very beautiful views, which we did enjoy. The New Year’s Eve party was the highlight of our stay. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious, the music was great, the ambiance was excellent, and the fireworks were amazing. What truly made our stay better was the staff. All of them were smiling, polite, and extremely helpful. Special thanks to the two amazing waiters, Mr. Chamal and Mr. Shashimal, who always provided excellent service with a smile and took great care of us at the restaurant. Also, a big thank you to the gentleman at the reception mr. Hansa who supported us every time we had a request. Overall, while the staff, views, and New Year’s celebration were excellent, the resort itself urgently needs renovation, better maintenance, and upgrades to match the level of service provided by its employees.

First of all I would mention Hansa,a young man who waited for us at 3.a.m.We were extremely tired,but Hansa,with his kindness,serenity and welcoming attitude explained us all the details.He has special skills for a leader,a trainer. His English is of level C1 and I would kindly recommend him for higher position. Then,the staff is friendly and very prompt. Chamal is one of the staff who serves us at the table.chamal is well-educated,smart,quick executing. He has always a kind attitude and finds the best solution to solve the problem. Autanya is also a very hardworking person,of a great help.His smiling face encourages you that you are his best client. That is the key to a good hotel.
