Hotel S-Presso Namba

I stayed alone for 3 nights in November 2025, but only now have I had the chance to write a review. It's good in a way, because the hotel is right in Namba. If you have an early flight from Kansai, you can take the regular Nankai train, so you're not in a hurry. It's not far to walk with your luggage from the station. Choosing a room with tatami mats wasn't inconvenient since I was traveling alone. Each floor has a toilet, but the shower is on the ground floor. If you want to do laundry, you can go up to the rooftop where there are coin-operated machines. The downsides I found are that the hotel doesn't have an elevator. The stairs are not soundproof, so at night and in the early morning you can hear people dragging their luggage up to their rooms very loudly. Heavy suitcases are really noisy with each step. I understand because I had to stop and rest a lot while trying to drag mine up. Another downside is that the air conditioner in my room (402) initially blew hot, musty air; it probably hadn't been cleaned and was very dusty. But otherwise, it wasn't bad. Check-in is self-service with a QR code. If you're confused, press the button to talk to a staff member. The room code is sent from the email you registered with, and you use it at the door when entering your room. And when checking out, don't forget to scan the QR code to notify them of your departure. Failing to complete all the steps might result in extra charges. You can just grab other items from the bottom and bring them up. It's convenient and worth the inexpensive price.

The room was fine, but there was only one shared shower booth and the person before me had been using it for an hour, so I only had to use it for 15 minutes. There's also a hairdryer in the room, so please use that!!

There is no reason to cancel an order that has already been paid for before check-in.
