On the plus side: 1.Location is ideal if you are attending museums, the Opera, the Nachtsmrkt for dinner all within walkable distances. Transportation hub a block away. 2. Quiet room if it is in the annex, facing the side street. 3. Silent heating radiators and floor length double curtains to make it completely dark at night. 4. Large bathroom 5. Of all the helpful staff members, Milan(I hope I got his name right) was a standout. The consummate concierge: he dressed the part, had the right mix of refined manners and excellent knowledge not only of the city but of the world in general. I Five ⭐️ to him alone, and many thanks for his valuable suggestions. On the minus side… 1. No phone I. Room to contact reception. A drag to go down 4 flights in elevator every time I needed something. Perhaps a WhatsApp phone if installing land lines is too expensive; as an overseas visitor having to call internationally 💸 from room to reception is not an affordable suggestion. 2. Noisy fan in bathroom was annoying, but was fixed the following day. Perhaps maintenance personnel checking rooms before guests arrive, to see if everything is working properly should be enforced. 3. Mini fridge in room works more like a mini heater: anything one places inside becomes warmer than room temperature, even after asking how it works: it doesn’t. 4. Bathroom should have a separate circuit for vanity, and another for shower. As it is everything turns up with one switch which is too bright in the middle of the night. Perhaps a plug in night light? 5. Change the door hinge on that large cabinet that serves as closet. The way it is now, neither the overhead light nor the desk lamp reach the inside of the closet making it impossible to see inside the closet. I had to use my phone as a flash light to find anything in it.

A lovely hotel right in the city center – 5 minutes from the Naschmarkt, Karlsplatz, and Hofburg Palace. Perfect for a short trip to Vienna. The rooms are very elegant and spacious. Everything you need is there, and they are clean. The reception staff are courteous and friendly.

A very nice hotel with soft, comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and offers a wide variety of options. Vegans will also find something to their liking. Eggs are cooked fresh upon request. There is a parking garage with ample parking spaces. One minor drawback: the entrance is easy to miss.
